We are all for sun-drenched beach holidays and city breaks that are full with exciting activities, but sometimes it's a weekend getaway to a quaint tiny town that entices you to return there octodle again and again. Small towns in Pennsylvania have a lot more to offer than travelers who aren't familiar with the state might expect, despite the fact that the majority of tourists who travel to Pennsylvania go straight to Philadelphia, make a pit stop in Pittsburgh, or make plans to go to the Poconos for a mountain getaway. It's peppered with villages that are well worth seeing, from Amish country to the Alleghenies and everything in between. New Hope is a vibrant and lively tiny town that can be reached from New York City in about an hour and a half, and from Philadelphia in only one hour. It is not necessary to be a resident of the surrounding urban area in order to be captivated by the destination's historic allure. Its location on the Delaware River makes it an ideal destination to spend a few days exploring the area's many fascinating points of interest, drinking cider, eating at wonderful restaurants, taking in nighttime entertainment, going boating, and listening to live music outside once the weather warms up.
After all, there is a reason why this borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is considered to be one of the most beloved little towns in the United States, and it attracts celebrities who undoubtedly have the financial means to acquire vacation homes almost anyplace (hello, Tina Fey). New Hope provides everything you need for a wonderful weekend escape, whether you stay there for just one night or for many days. |
